It always make me think of the movie Zookeeper, where the guy (who's a zookeeper) talks to all of the animals, who talk back to him, and do all these weird animal things the zoo animals suggest so he can get this girl, like "marking his territory" or being an "alpha male"...
For some reason, the way you coloured his shirt really stands out...
